94 bravada whining noise
if i start up the engine there is a whining noise coming from the side with the a/c compressor it kinda sounds like a power steering pump without fluid i checked the ps pump it is full and i changed the a/c compresor thinking that was it noise it still coming from the pass side i took off the belt the noise stops has anyone else had this problem

get a piece of garden hose and put one end to your ear and probe with the other to locate the sound, or buy a cheap auto stethescope. a lot cheaper than an a/c compressor.
do you have the 2.2 or the 4.3 engine? |

This sounds a lot like the problem I am having. I just started a new thread regarding the issue. I know it has been a while since you posted, but I thought I would ask if you were able to get the problem fixed?
