Re: pi day

I think I'll skip the pi day this year, and just work up to the big one in 8 years.

meanwhile, my hero speaks on pi.....

Psst... it's approximately 3.14159265358979 (yes, I know that much from memory).

Tomorrow is T-day... I will probably punk out on the tattoo, but I might not. Depends on how many drinks they buy me before hand.

Yep, but I was willing to not count the extra time (less than a second)

Re: pi day

Well, I didn't punk out, but I didn't get the tattoo, either.

Allow me to explain: I ride a trolley to work every day, so I don't have readily available transportation. Another girl at work offered to drive me down to the tattoo shop, which was awesome... until she changed her plans at the last minute. So then my ride disappeared. Then, the only other girl left in the office at 5:15pm was buzzed off her ass from some pain medication she took. And I wasn't about to ride an hour out of the city by trolley only to turn around and drive back for a tattoo.

So then I went home, and looked up tattoo shops in my local area... I drive there only to find out that they don't take walk-ins because "everything we do is custom, so the artists have to practice it beforehand". Blah Blah Blah... it's a friggin PI symbol! 5th graders can draw it!

So that's the story of why tangie doesn't have a pi tattoo yet.

Re: pi day

Well, since fate was against me, I'm thinking the pi tattoo might wait until next March. I'm going to be in Washington DC (again) this weekend... so I'm thinking I might just get the "other" tattoo I've been planning on while I'm there. I think fate is pretty set on me not getting this tattoo at this time. Oh well. There's always next year.

Re: pi day

No, the pi tattoo was part of a pair. The "sister" tattoo is the original Apple Computer symbol (the stripey one). So together, apple on the left and pi on the right becomes apple pi. I want to get my apple tattoo in DC when I'm down there all weekend for St. Patty's day.

Edit: Yeah, no tattoo... I kinda forgot I have a HUGE business trip in Atlanta NEXT WEEK, so I am going to need the cash. Stupid fate.

You're probably right, but then again, we end up ruling the world after school, while the jocks mop our floors, and we marry the dumb cheerleaders before its too late for their sex.

Ah life is good.
