99 ford windstar keyless
i have just recently purchased a 99 ford windstar and it didnt come with a remote...i purchased one on ebay and am trying to program the remote and i do what it says by turning it from off to on 8 times in 10 seconds and the doors will cycle after that...but that doesnt happen it doesnt cycle i have tried at least 40 times to get it to cycle and it wont...if it doesnt cycle what can i do to make it cycle...please help

I think you need a programmed one to enable you to program a second.
The dealer of course can do it without one |

No, you do not need a currently working remote to program Ford remotes. I believe thats only on certain Chrysler remotes.
Try it with all the doors closed (including the tailgate) as well as with the driver's door open....and DONT press the brake pedal, that exits programming mode.

Yeah I think you are right. I checked my manual and it is the keys that you need 2 of before being able to program additional ones
