Ac vents were fine and now only defroster blows

I know these cars have electric buttons for the ac and heater and mine was blowing great. Now overnight the ac doesn't blow through the vents only the defroster. We turned the defroster on for a split second last night and now it's engaged in that mode. Any way to fix it, thanks any advice would help, since the last advice was great and was exactly what was wrong with it. Thanks!

This is getting weird, Last time we had the same problem and it now seem again were having problem with climate control buttons (who would have thought) 1994 Buick Lesabre Custom------ Hope you find an answer...

The easy fix for this problem is to look under the hood for a plastic funny shaped box right on the firewall next to the brake booster (the big round thing that holds the master cylinder). It will have a single vacuum line running to it. If this fell off or is damaged (or any line connected to that line--the same thing), then your blower will blow out of your defroster only.

Check that first.

I found it. I figured it was a vacuum problem, all I had to do was find the line. I found it and put it back on, AC works fine now. Thanks!
