de is on nissans engine codes not mitsubishis as far as i know anyway.. The swap can be done but why? go buy one with the twin cam and sell yours.. it will be cheeper.. and better.. IMO

yes you can use the original wiring harness, but you'll have to modify it A LOT. get the harness with the new engine and it makes it a LOT easier.
