Headlight Gremlins
1990 (build of 05/89) Cabrio and the low beam headlights go off when switching from High to Low beam. If I start the car and turn on low beams, all is well, then I go to high and all lights (sealed beam) are on, and then I go to low and I lose my lights. Turn off car and start over and all is well until I go high to low. I am thinking a high beam relay is not opening a leg to let power to low beams when I switch over, what are your thoughts?

Re: Headlight Gremlins
Just a follow up, with ignition on and no low beams, I tapped the low beam relay with handle of a screwdriver and the lights came on. $11.00 and a new relay later, and I am again night motoring.
