Arrow Manual Air Cond change to Auto Air Cond??

I have a 2004 Silverado with manual AC. I want Auto AC. I have the Auto AC unit.
They both have 2 plugs. One plugs works with the Auto AC the other does not.

The one plug turns on the unit and all the controls work. Just no AC

The manual plug has 8 pins the auto 10 pins.

the only thing i know is to splice the wires, just don't know what to do with the xtra 2 wires.

has anybody done this and can lead me in the right direction

You will have to change a lot more than the control panel.
Like the hole heater and ac unit and maybe the hole PCM/VCM and all wiring.

I know i have to change the unit itself. I own a salvage yard so that was not a problem.

Just didn't know if anybody has tried this before. The only thing i can see to do is splice the pigtail in or change the entire dash harness

I dought if many switches have been done on it.
I would go the hole dash harness but keep in mind that the auto matic heater controls will need a the body computer and other good stuff.
Good luck
