16 yo needs help

I am about to turn 16 and i have about $4500 to spend on a car including mods (if necessary), i have been looking at many cars and i have a few in mind but it is really hard for me to choose which one i should get...so far i've narrowed it down to these cars...

Nissan 240sx s13 ($2000 - $3500)
Nissam Maxima 3rd or 4th Gen ( $2000 - $4000)
Honda Civic SI anything between 88-95 ($1000 -$2500)
Mazda MX-6 2nd Gen or 1st Gen turbo ($2500 - $4000)
Acura Integra 2nd or 3rd Gen ( $1500 - $3500)
Toyota Celica GT-S 5th Gen (I think...) or 4th Gen all trac turbo ($2500 - $3500)
Honda Prelude 4th Gen ( $3500 - $4500)
Volkswagen Corrado ( $2500 - $4000)
Volkswagen Jetta 2nd or 3rd Gen ( $1000 - $3500)
Nissan 200sx (not the s12) ( $2500 - $3500)

I'm more lenient towards the 240, mx-6 and Prelude...is there any other cars i should consider...why or why not?....I would also like to mod the car a bit so please tell me which car i should get along with what simple mods...please be specific...

yes, I'm well aware of that website....but you might want to be able to see the car in person and test it out...

Re: 16 yo needs help

dude, all I can say is, do NOT get a 200SX, if u do anything right in your life, dont get one. It is the slowest thing I've ever driven. Get the 240, those cars are the best bang for da buck, lightning quick.

Re: 16 yo needs help

I admit that a 4th gen lude for 4500 is rare...but i have seen a few of them and will see more by the time...my uncle bought one for 500 bucks it needed a front clip and rad cos it was crashed...i wouldve got it but he sold it for 2500, and it was before i started thinking about gettin a car

If you want speed go for the VW Corrado.

Tons of potential for modifying. I've seen drag races with blown Corrados beating on Vipers and Corvettes. Its a beautiful thing to watch.

Re: 16 yo needs help

if u want a car 2 mod personaly i would buy a jetta 2nd gen as they have loads of aftermarket parts and have a great engine vw have the most reliable engines in the world and they last for ever. i am only 16 and have already bought a 106 quicksilver seeing as this is not on your list i would highly recommend one as they are well fast and have the best mods out yet and 106's are the cheapest cars to insure and to modify.
