Burning CD in Real Player. Need Help.

Ok I want to burn my music using Real Player. Now I know theres a way I can have more than 15-20 songs added onto my CD. It gave me a choice to select which CD type. The choices are Audio CD, MP3 CD and Data CD. My question is,can I choose the data CD and play it on my car stereo? It does play MP3s. I dont have the option to select MP3 cd. I think you need to get Real Player Pro for that option.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Burning CD in Real Player. Need Help.

I think thats how I did most of mine, as data, but I'm not sure, it's been a long time since I last burned one. But I used other programs, Nero, WMP, and a few others I think. CD-R's are cheap, you could make a test cd to try and see if it works.

Re: Burning CD in Real Player. Need Help.

If you have an aftermarket (or really nice stock) head unit that plays MP3 CD's, you should be able to make a data CD and just load it with MP3's and play it.

On another note...why the hell are you trying to use Real Player to burn discs?

Re: Burning CD in Real Player. Need Help.

Yeah, I'd rather use Nero, Roxio or WMP for that. I don't like Real player.

Well for one, it's free. So why not?

Well...because it just isn't a good piece of software for what it is intended for.

There are many other programs that will do a better job...and they are also free. You just need to look and experiment instead of settling.

Wow I didn't realize it was that awful. I hardly use it. If I get rid of it, then some streaming videos/audios wont play because they require Real Player. I'm already getting Roxio's CD Creator 9. I hate Nero 7 with passion. For some reason, it always messes up my computer.
