Anybody know when Infiniti changed the parts they use on their engines? I took apart the engine from my wrecked '97 J30 and alot of the componenets have changed since my '94 J30. The plenum has some extra hoses along with extra tubing on the balance tube. I took the whole engine apart and it even has a newer set of heads and lower plenum w/ fuel rail that almost had my friend with a TT 300zx think they were the newer style of heads for the VG30DE, but the markings on the J30 heads were not the same as the ones he was looking for. Anyways, if anyone knows about the changes please let me know.
Oh this does mean that I have engine components for sale. Wiring harness, coil packs (for spark plugs), plenum, lower plenum, fuel rail w/ injectors, heads, drivers side of timing belt cover, AC compressor, fuel rails and tubing, coolant temperature sensors, and a couple of more things. I will post pics later one once I take some pics of the parts themselves. Here is some pics of the cylinder heads:
