98 Dodge Grand Caravan almost stolen

Urgent help please, the van was hotwired for quick theft, perhaps the thiefs got distracted and left. Now, the van won't start, and I don't have any other details. Do theives need to break the steering lock also?

Thanks,
KB

they would need to break the steering lock to be able to steer the van. Sounds like your gonna need a good wiring diagram to get things back in order.

Yeah, I thought that's what would happen. I had it towed to the dealer this afternoon, insurance will pay for repair, towing, and rental car, less my $100 deductible, It's now in good hands, and hopefully, it won't be a premium increase in the future if it's a comprehensive claim?
