Shake, Rattle and Roll

Both of my '94 Ranger have a rattle that sounds like a broken shock, but I can't locate it. Anyone else fortunate enough to have this problem.

well we kinda need more info. like does it happen during acceleration, or deceleration when you hit a bump, at what speeds?

the first thing i can think of is broke leaf spring (common) or body mount.

The rattle is present when hitting bumps. It doesn't seem to be a drivetrain issue.
