Brand New 2.5 Spec-V 6 speed QR25 Tranny
Hey guys, i'm actually on here with bad news. Sort of. I had a misdiagnosis on my Spec-V. Got to love those damn shops that don't know what they are doing. I was told tranny damage, and bought a new tranny for my Spec-V. The problem actually came down to my Clutch, and a flywheel scuff.
This is the situation. I went, and spent entirely too much money on a brand new transmission. I mean this biatch has not even been installed. It has the release bearing and all. I spent a little over 2.5G's on this biatch, and am trying to recoup at least some loss. Only problem is that my tranny is far from Dead. 65k on my car. I'm hoping maybe somebody else out there may be able to use this. I'll give you a dang good deal on it too. Let me know. Help me afford my headers, and stereo upgrade. Patrick Just send me a message, and you can make an offer. Lowballers, not evnvied, but welcome. This is a brand new. Basically crate Transmission. Let me know Patrick. |

Re: Brand New 2.5 Spec-V 6 speed QR25 Tranny
why not install your new one for a brand new tranny and sell your used one, you are more likely to sell a $800 used tranny than a $2,500 new one, just my $.02

Re: Brand New 2.5 Spec-V 6 speed QR25 Tranny
I had thought about just installing the new one. I don't have the setup to do it. I'm not selling my new one for 2500. I'm taking offers on it. If i got an offer of 1200 i'd sell it. I just got crap to put it in. My car only has 65k on it. Tranny is nice. I'd thought about paying someone to do it, but i don't want to invest any more money to put it in. I figured that a brand new spec transmission would pull me 800-1200, and i'm fine with that. I'm just eating the loss. I've had it for some months now, and its just sitting there. The tranny is worth over 3k. I don't remember book value on it. Only prob is i've had it too long to take it back. Hell its well worth it. I should have thrown it on here a month or so ago, afer i figured i would not need to keep it. I'm sure someone out there may need a new tranny. Its for the Spec-v 02-06. The six speed tranny is a lovely thing. I couldn't drive another car if i wanted to. After this ones paid off it goes to the wife, and i get my STI, but that's a cople years away.

Yep, new tranny. It is a biatch that i really can't use it. Mine has low enough miles that i can't justify putting it in my car and selling the old, cause the cost to put it in. Its up on the block here, so if anyone is interested, just let me know. I can get rid of it for a fraction of what i paid for it. So if anyone is interested just let me know.

Re: Brand New 2.5 Spec-V 6 speed QR25 Tranny
post this onto the b15sentra.net board. the qr sentra is a lot more plentiful in members there, as well as people buying parts. and you should get replys same day, if not same hour.
