Back on topic. As far as insurance, these guys got some crazy rates. With a clean driving record through Progressive, in NY, when I was 20, I got quoted 5k a year. After I pulled every deduction possible, and defensive driving, and lied about daytime running lights, I got it down to ~3,200 a year. Even now 4 years later, switching to Travelers and moving to PA, I've only just gotten it down to 1,500 a year.

At your age, insurance is going to be insane. Yet another reason, I don't suggest this car for you.
