clicking noise

Have 99 jeep grand cherokee loredo...hear a clicking noise while I start to accelerate and decelerate...sounds like its coming from shifter area while driving...can only hear it when windows are up...I've had transfer case rebuilt...rear end rebuilt...103000 miles....any idea's on what this noise can be????????

Have you check to see if any things loose in my jeep i heard clicking and taping noise a couple times and all it was the thing to hold up the hood rattle against the fender and a fan shroud hitting the fan

I also have a noise coming from the shifter area, but only when the 4-wheel is engaged. It almost seems like something is kinda grinding, and the shifter shakes. The noise is loud and has me worried the transfer case might be going out. 1993 grand cherokee laredo 4.0
