Adjust torque split/power bias in a VR4?

I was wondering if there was anyway I could adjust the torque split for the supposed 45% front bias and the 55% rear power bias? I know it may sound kinda stupid, but I was searching around and couldn't find info. Like lets say I over steer, I can crank up the power to the front or if I under steer, bias more power to the back. I know messing with the suspension can probably help correct this, but I'm just wondering if there is some kinda of controller or something that you can use to adjust the split on the transfer case or center diff or whatever. If this is completely stupid then I'm sorry for wasting your time lol. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Well its not possible, but it also wouldn't be possible for you to react fast enough to adjust it mid slide.

^ Um, you guess? Why not? How about because it's not possible. Reading comprehension FTL.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: Adjust torque split/power bias in a VR4?

Our cars are basically 50/50 stock when cruising down the road. They can range from something like 90/10 and 10/90 depending on road conditions. Torque goes to where the traction is.

Re: Adjust torque split/power bias in a VR4?

Oh I never knew our cars did that. This may be out on a limb, but there isn't anyway we can lock it at a desired torque split is there?

Re: Adjust torque split/power bias in a VR4?

no no no no no. As said the way the VCU is designed it will burn it up if you try to keep it set at one torque split and not 50/50

Thats how AWD works, if torque was to stay at a certain bias then you wouldn't move all that well if either end of the car lost traction.

And no.
