Could someone tell me how I go about getting the code for a 94 Lesabre without a reader because the check engine light is on.

Go to http://www.troublecodes.net/gm/. You can get detailed instructions and links to the codes on there. Like it says on thier site it may or may not work with your '94 because some dont have the B terminal and some do have the A & B terminals but will still require a scanner but it's worth checking out. It worked on my '93. And you can check out my thread-"Service engine light goes on and off". Hotz28 says how to do it too. Good luck.

You could always just run by an auto parts store and they will read your codes for free. Around here they all seem to do it...Autozone, O'Reilly, Advanced.
