Ready for a decal nightmare?

If Honda gets around to winning this coming season, we might get this jewel of a decal job:

Wow. That's gonna be a miserable job - imagine having to lay down a dozen decals printed that finely without any gaps or misalignments! Personally, I'd prefer last season's Honda with BAR's "Last Blast" livery, but really, we probably won't see any because Honda has a hard time winning

Re: Ready for a decal nightmare?

Those vertical wings next to the radiator inlets look pretty weird.. as far as them winning, well, it'd be nice to see another team at the top. And as far as the decals go, i've seen worse in the mecha world.. heh

like this for example: http://www.hlj.com/product/HSGVR1 3 sheets of decals

Re: Ready for a decal nightmare?

Yeah, that looks really odd, but interesting as a model subject. I think it's doable, as there were kits and diecasts of the Crocodile Audi.

Re: Ready for a decal nightmare?

Don't fret, it'll probably end up predecorated in diecast

Re: Ready for a decal nightmare?

I love this car and the new livery. You can bet (it being a Honda after all) that there will be a suitably expensive 1/20 version from a japanese source. Now if they could only pick up some pace and maybe even steal a few points from that new BMW.

That or Tamiya will do it and it will come with a diecast chassis.

Re: Ready for a decal nightmare?

I've seen worse decal jobs, remember the crocodile Audi R8? All good fun in my book!
Besides, Honda won a race last year and Tamiya have been silent. And unfortunatelly, judging by this years testing times, Honda are unlikely to win again soon.
