02 GA GT cruise control

when I push the button on the steering wheel to turn on the cruise control the light on the button comes on but when I push the set button the cruise wont set.

just wondering if anyone knows what the problem could be.

Welcome to AF.

Hard telling honestly. If you do a search for "cruise control buttons" you will find several complaints about different problems.

The only way I know of to fix it is to replace the button unit.
Which to remove you need to pull the steering wheel apart and remove the air bag to get to the mounting screws that hold the cruise controls.

One Guy Told Me That It Could Be The Servo Or Something Like That I Forget What Exactly He Called It But Just Wondering How Hard That Is To Change And Where Its Located

I doubt the servo unit is the cause here.

If you keep pushing/messing with the "set" button sometimes it will work. My GT is often like this, and sometimes it wont set at all until I shut off the car.
My Cruise light on my dash doesnt work either, which thats probly a bulb failure.

If you cant get it to work then, maybe you can get it checked out. The unit is on the pass side engine bay.

Also make sure the fuses and the relay are working.
