I had a feeling they messed up the vent lines at the tank, glad you got it fixed.

Yes they did infact messed out those line
The repair manager did not want to assume this mistake but I insist. So far I put gas without any previous problems this morning Will drive in the city to see if the check engine light will show up again Thanks everybody to help me out I will recommend this site for all my friends seeking for recommention Regards, V.R Montreal , QC , Canada |

Venditi, try this next time you are at a pump and the you can't get the pump to stay running. Insert the gas nozzle all the way into the tank until you fill it stop. Pull the handle back about an inch and let the nozzle sit inside the tank at a slight angle (make sure you don't see the tip of the nozzle). Try pumping again. I have this exact problem at certain gas stations in town. I dont' know why but if I hang the nozzle out just a little, it doesn't doesn't cut off until the tank is full... I've never replaced my fuel pump or sending unit but I've had this wierdness since i bought my gtp and that was my solution. |
