1998 Jimmy radio flashing
Well, I got reallhy impatient one night while installing a new radio and i cut the factory wiring harness. i re-hooked it up but when i put the car in gear and hit the gas the radio completely turns off. when i stop again it turns back on. should i replace the entire dash harness? if so what is the exact name for the harness? if not any other help would be much appreciated. thanks

Re: 1998 Jimmy radio flashing
Just a shot in the dark here..... have you by any chance checked to see if your ground wire on your radio is secure? The changing of positions when in gear may move the wire a bit and not make a connection. Just a thought. Good Luck!!

Re: 1998 Jimmy radio flashing
Why not put your RED wire on a switch and leave the yellow wire(constant hot) plugged up so you will have memory. If you still have the factory connector, why not just splice all the wires back together. Good Luck.
