how simple fixes can ruin a day.

so we were changing the spark plugs on my 3.0 and all came out fine except the back drivers side plug. it wouldnt come out easy so we twisted harder and it snapped clean in half before it started moving out and all of the threads are stuck in the cylinder head. and we did use anti-cease last time we put them in.

Re: how simple fixes can ruin a day.

I would buy a set of extractors the short type. Soak the plug with P-B blasrter the night before drive an extractor of the proper size. Use a breaker bar on a 3/8 inch drive.
Use a plastic faced mallet and tap. A strong pull might break your extractor.
I have had success pulling them. You can also use a quick pull but don't keep pressure on it. Just take your time I can feel about when something will break.
These extractors have a six point head and only are about 1" tall.
Get mad and you will break something. Just stop and get a cup of coffee.
