Bad Infinity amp??? 96 GC Limited

Just bought a 96 GC limited. THe only speakers that work are the tweeters in the dash. It has a factory cdplayer/tape deck. I thougt it was the head unit so I changed it and then NO speakers worked. Been reading around and learned the it has an amp, so I located it in the back seat and unplugged the 2 harnesses one by one and the tweeters go out when I pull either harness. I checked the door speakers and they all are there and connected. Could the amp be bad? Any one ever seen this? Where can I buy another amp if so?

A friend of mine has a 95 JGC Limited,
and had the same problem. It is the
amp. He fixed the problem by putting
an aftermarket deck in the vehicle.
I mean, if you want to keep the car
all stock, you can pick up an amp
at the salvage yard for like $30
dollars I believe.

thanks but i tested the amp and the amp isnt the problem. my mom has a jeep too so i took her working amp and put it in my car and it still didnot work. i dont think the amp is getting power. what do you think?
