What is the easist way to change the fuel pump in a 93 lincoln town car. I understand it is located in the gas tank. How do I get to it to change it out? Thanks.

ive done fuel pumps on three ford products that are all the same: i owned a 92 crown vic, a 93 grand marquis, and a 95 town car that all needed fuel pumps. i had to drop the tank. when the fuel pump went on my town car what i did was tap the tank so the pump would jerk and be able to function so i could start the car. then i drove the car till it was very low on gas because it makes life so much easier to drop the tank with 2 gallons in it instead of 20
