New Rc211v

i just found out that tamiya will release another 2006 honda rc211v. this time it will be the lcr version. i was hoping for different make of bike instead just different sticker pack. oh well, i will still probably buy the kit anyway. i just thought some of you might like to know about the kit.

hmmm, where did you get that info? k/m hasn't released as expected & they're going to do lcr? what's next? gresini, i guess?

looks like tamiya is focusing on the rc211vs first before the m1, i guess. lcr does come in few liveries, so which livery is tamiya gonna choose? also, as i've said in the other post, i guess tamiya would just use the same mold from the repsol '06 & make new decal sheets along with the new decal instructions. not that i'm complaining though.

i hope that when they do the gresini(i guess they would), they make the seat pad specially for melandri knowing that the size of the seat of elias & melandri ain't the same.

Where did you order these from? I wasn't aware they were available.

Studio27 are releasing an t/k for Nicky's bike due end of Feb but still , but even going by the picture they have with it it is wrong as it clearly shows the left hand lower exhaust on Nicky's bike but they have made nothing for it

i ordered from my LHS.. it's actually on future release if i'm not wrong..

After a better look at the Studio27 site ,I am wrong and they do have the correct cowling for nickys bike ,so this is on my shopping list

Yeah, i just the repsol '06 kit, and i was kinda dissappionted with the cowling. Looking forward to build it though. Also, the Konica MInolta and Lcr bikes have awsome decal jobs. Hope to build those too.
