Updated Boss

Well I haven't posted any new cars in awhile, but recently I was messing around with a 1/18 Welly Boss Mustang and after a few mods this is what I ended up with.

Basically is what I did was take most of my parts from a Maisto 2003 SVT Mustang and swap them with the Boss's dated parts. In the trunk are a few added goodies like Nitrous, an amp, and the battery had to be relocated to the trunk b/c of the blower setup under the hood. Also the car has been lowered, and the stock wheels have been swapped in favor of the chrome SVT wheels. Let me know what you all think.

Re: Updated Boss

This is actually the second time I have modded this car. It did not turn out to well the first time, so I tore it down and re-did it to look a lot better and cleaner. It was a real pain in the A$$ to get the motor placed just right; it must have taken me 2 hours to get it mounted right. I forgot to mention that the dash used to be painted to look like wood, now it is painted in metallic blue to match the exterior color.

Re: Updated Boss

Thats some scary stuff. I could not risk messing up a model like that. Yours turned out great though. Looks really mean.

Re: Updated Boss

Dig the SVT Wheels, needs a little more meat and height in the rear, but not too shabby.

Is it sad that I can tell where almost all of your modifications came from?
Like for instance the rollbar, from the Ertl FnF Supra, the wheels are Maisto SVT Cobra's, and your intake filter is a super glue cap, but hey, make do with what you have, good work.

You are pretty much dead on where I got all the parts from, except the filter. The filter was made from a cap for splicing two wires together. The reason most of my mods came from a SVT was becasue I was kinda looking for an updated mustang with the old school looks. Thanks for the comments!
