He said Generation. And, EK is a JDM code which means you can say the other JDM Civics w/ B-series engines.

The 4th, 5th, and 6th Generation Civics came with B-series motors. In the U.S. the EM1 chassis Civic Si (99-00) was equipped with a B16A2 and the 93-97 del Sol VTEC was equipped with a B16A3..or 4 something of the sort. Both had 160flywheelhp.

JDM Civics from 1988 all had some trim level equipped with a B-series motor. From an SiR EF Civic/CRX or an SiR/SiRII EG6 or an Si EG6 (sedan). The 96-00 Civic SiR/SiRII had a B16A as well. The EF Civics had around 158flywheelhp and the newer ones had 168hp mills. The EK9 was equipped with a B16B 184hp motor.

There are also tons of European civics and the Canadian Si equivalent (SiR) which had B16As.

There was a 5-door equipped with a B18C motor but it's so rare that I have never seen a pic or anything...it might just be a rumor.

BTW civic is not del sol and del sol is not civic. If you want to be anal that is, because he asked "what civic" had B series.

I'm just telling him the correct answer Kane. Since when is helping someone out being anal? I'm just stating the facts.

Well if you want to get in a pussy fight about this your wrong too. For the first 2-3 years del sol's where called civic del sol then honda wanted to give them there own image so they chaged it to just Del Sol. They never were called CRX Del Sol in the US that was only in other country's
