'04 Silverado - No Lights for DIC & Radio

I need some help guys. This morning, I started my truck and the lights for the driver info. center are out (mileage) and the radio lights are also blank. The radio still works fine, I just can't see the time or station. I have a 2004 Silverado Crew Cab Z71 with 50K miles. I haven't perfomed any mods on it, other than having the steering shaft re-lubed. Is this common and is there a quick fix? Thanks for your input and help.
