|
hi everyone. i got a prostart combined with an alarm for manual transm. and i wired it. when i try to program the remote, i fails. taking it out of valet is ok but when i flash the hood pin, the manual says the lights are supposed to stay on for 20 sec. in my case they lash twice and stay off? any ideas on what i.m doing wrong? i tried this over and over many time and different combinations. cant get it ot work. any help is appreciated. the wiring is correct though. thanks

You sure that you got it into programming correctly? Read the manual again, most RS units for manuals have extra things you need to do to get it to work.

i got it. the book said to press the pin for 4 seconds and then release it. it said to re press it again and then release it and the lights should stay on.
the procedure is right but what they did not say was that after you press and release the first time, you have to re press and release within a fraction of a second the second time. anything to screw us up so they can force you to go a professional and pay. thanks anyways. |
