Cd player question

Hi, I have a 2002 mercury sable that came with a tape deck. I was wondering if I had the tape deck taken out to put a cd player in, would they have to replace that whole console? Everything looks attached and is it worth it with how much it might cost? Sorry for the dumb question.

Re: Cd player question

If your heater controls are not digital then you can get an aftermarket bracket for it, if you have the digital controls you are s.o.l. See below
