Glow Plug Harness

Ref: 1993, F350, Crew Cab, 7.3L Diesel, Non-turbo.
The connecting ends of the my trucks glow plug harness, (the plastic piece that covers the connector that slides onto the end of the glow plugs), are all dry rotted and several are broken (so I "jerry-rigged" a couple of them using electrical connectors for spark plugs).
Is there an after market source for just the end of the glow plug harness?, or do I have to buy a new glow plug harness?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks tons,
Jim

Re: Glow Plug Harness

What i use to repair them with is pieces of rubber tubing that fit nice and snug, i forget the size right off the bat. Or you can use vinyl tubing if you want. Cut the pieces the length you need, get some heat shrink tubing that will slip over the tubing but will still seal down to the wire. Slip the heat shrink tubing on the wire, then the tubing, then slip the heat shrink over the rubber tubing and heat it to secure the tubing to the wire. It makes a neat looking , inexpensive repair.

Re: Glow Plug Harness

I have the same problem, I suggest you buy them, you can have a short.
