Does anyone know if 04 Explorer XLT comes with Anti-theft devices

I am going through a new insurance company. They asked if my truck ad an alarm system. I wasn’t sure. I do have a blinking red light on my dash that flashes when the truck is locked. I only noticed it at night.

If it does have one, does anyone know what type? I save money on my insurance if I can find this out.

Thanks

some of them have an alarm from the factory the best way to find out is to sit in the car lock the doors with the remote and open the door if it has a alarm it will go off if not it has the pats key system that is an anti theft device i get a discount for the pats key

If you have Keyless entry (keypad on the door) you have an alarm for sure. Not sure about the others or if XLTs all had the Keypad. If you try your alarm remember to wait a couple of minutes before opening the door. The alarm doesn't arm right away. I beleive there is a different flash sequence from your theft light when it actually arms (possibly solid first and flashing once it arms....not 100% sure)
