Fuel Door won't close.

Has anyone had the problem with the fuel door not wanting to close all the way. I have seen several Grand AMs and Aleros with the same thing I can't figure out why it won’t close nothing seems to be in the way. It will close from time to time but I don't do anything differently so I have no idea.

Nothing serious just annoying, any insight would be helpful.
Thanks,

Re: Fuel Door won't close.

the only thing i can think of is the angle it closes at. everyonce in a while i would have that happen if the door wasn't closed exactly straight and got pushed Up or down a little then it wouldn't close all the way. I would just reopen, straighten it out then close and would be fine. hope this helps a little?!!!
