91 Coupe DeVille with Auto Leveling Problem
Hello,
I have a 1991 Coupe DeVille and the car keeps leveling even after the ignition is turned off. The dealer said this was normal when I bought it a few years back. Now however it is draining the battery. Any insights. Thanks |

Re: 91 Coupe DeVille with Auto Leveling Problem
It should stop running after 20 seconds or so. If not, then there is a leak in the system. Does the car ride high, or just the compressor keeps running?

I agree with the leak, or maybe a bad leveling sensor.

Re: 91 Coupe DeVille with Auto Leveling Problem
I hear the leveling compressor run for about 20 seconds at a time. It will come on every now and then. I'll come out the next day to start the car and while still outside the car will hear it come on, I assume that it comes on repeatedly throughout the night.
