it should not effect your chimes. That comes from the body control module, which is under the glove box. I put tape over the holes so its not as loud and anoying.
You need a panel tool or something to pry offff the bezel. Just some clips on th eback side holding it. Here is a section in the appearance/non performance section. Disassembly of your 99+ N-Body Interior Kinda cheesy but it has a few pics.

you have to use a screw driver......put it between the gaps than pull it out....

Well got all my wires and harness and got my deck installed. It was a kickass install that took about 2 hours to install deck and the amplifier and sub in the trunk. Thanks for the help in figuring out what exactly it was I needed to do.
