flywheel won't give you more horsepower..... just a add on to do to better the driving experience, like springs for your car etc....

The lightened flywheel won't give you much hp, if any at all. The flywheel acts in part with the clutch to transfer power from the engine to the wheels. So the only way that you may gain some hp is if the friction between the clutch plate and your new flywheel is greater than the friction between the clutch plate and your old flywheel. With your old flywheel, it might not have had a good amount of friction against the clutch disc so it will allow some power to spin away and be lost, but with the new flywheel it won't allow that power to get lost and it will send it to the wheels instead. Also with a lightened flywheel you will get faster throttle response than before.

*BUZZER*

Flywheels dont give you HP...what it does is allow the engine to rev up faster. Idea being of less rotational mass. =D But beware...it's hard to find a good lightened flywheel for the 240SX...most of them dont work too well and they are too expensive for the little gains you do get. Also they tend to...at least on 240SX's...to not match up right and eat starters like chew toys. So...beware..best bet it to get your stock flywheel and machine it down and lighten it...that way you save money and it will match up perfectly.

plus since it has less rotational mass, your fuel effiency would go down, since there is less centrigal force to assist the fly wheel from spinning. but since we're all sports car enthusiast, i guess a few less miles here and there won't really matter.

Thanx for the answers. I'll drop the idea about the lightened flywheel and save the money for a larger intercooler.
