http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm

To convert cc / min to lbs. / hr. - Divide by 10.5

Re: injector size calculator

You can't just use any injectors on your car. You know that right?

Yeah, i know. i just forgot what you do to change over pounds to cc.. I have to get one that first lines up with the 3/s clip.. and also to size the injectors i used the power (i am looking for 600 at the crank) x bsfc (i dont know exactly so i went high with .65) then i multiplyed that by 1+ the percentage i wanted of safty (15% is the lowest i want to go so .15) and i ended up with 448 pounds/hour then i took that and / it by 6 (i have 6 injectors) and ended up with 75pound/hour injectors now thats where i got lost for a second.. thanks lineback i took that and X it by 10.5 and now i decided i need to go with 780 injectors
I think i did the math right.. i just wish i could spell better.. haha

I do wonder though how much fuel pressure are the bigger guys running? there not staying with 43psi are they?

Re: injector size calculator

There is more too it than just fitting in the car. There are peak and hold injectors and there are saturated injectors. Generally but not always peak and hold are measured in CC and saturated are measured in lbs/min. If you use peak and hold injectors in a saturated system they wont work right, if you go the other way you fry electronics.

NA 3000GT's use saturated injectors
TT 3000GT's use peak and hold injectors

I just wanted to make sure you know what you are looking for before you go out and buy things.

Re: injector size calculator

Yeah good looking out.. i actualy didnt know that the NA came with saturated injectors? now that you mentioned it that is why you have to put the resitor in there if you change it.. Question for talskinyguy.. With the AEM EMS for our car do you need to wire in the resistors? or is it already come with it? I just remember reading somewhere on there about that..
