Cool Another round of everyone's favorite game: "Match That Wheel!"

Hi Everybody!

I know I'd have more cred if I posted more often, much less posted actual models, but hey - what can you do? Enough of that; let's play:

Match!!! That!!! Wheel!!!

Today we have this fine specimin, manufactured by BBS for STI of Japan, as featured on the special model STI S401...

Main qualities include:
BBS tuning-fork style (10 pair)
18" neighborhood
5-lug sunken centers

Off the top of my head I think the wheels from the Tamiya Porsche Boxster Special Edition seem like a great starting point. Anyone got a great picture of some?

I think I can deal with drilling out and rebuilding the centers, because Subarus use this weird offset. I'm already planning to do so for my S202 wheels, so no big whoop.

Any more ideas? Thanks!

mmm,we would need to drill the center and make it a little bit deeper. Otherwise,it looks quite close!

Well, this is only 8 spokes, but it's pretty close otherwise. Same deep center and "tuning fork" spokes.

The Tamiya Porsche GT1 and GT2 also come on double ten spoke BBS's, but I think the Boxter set is probably closest. Good lookin' wheels.
