91 grand am blowing cold air...

I i have a 1991 Grand Am LE...it blows out cold air while the swith is on the red....Could i Flush out the heater core? and where would i do that at? my friend told me to do that.....

YOu can try and flush it , might work might not.

The hoses go in through the middle area of the firewall.
About the only way is to loosen them up and try an air hose or maybe a garden hose, its a little chilli for that though. And see if it'll blow out what evers plugging it.

I had the same problem w/ my 93. It ended up being the fan housing needed to be replaced.
