Mercedes DTM

Finally finished something after being sick for a long time. It's great to get building again. Enjoy, comments welcome.

Re: Mercedes DTM

Great finish of this amazing car. I find this one of the most challenging kits out there (maybe because I´m far away from finishing mine). Did you add any details or did you just go with it OOB). Did you find any problems in the assembly or with the decals?

Re: Mercedes DTM

Looks very good! I like this livery, but the decals must be really hard work!?
Some more pics would be fine.

Re: Mercedes DTM

Excellent work, looks truly amazing. Those decals must've taken quite some time to properly apply!

Re: Mercedes DTM

Thanks for the compliments. The biggest problem with the decals is they didn't stick well and lifted allot, I had to use white glue under allot of them to get them to stay down. Putting the body on to the chassis is a little tricky, especially getting the front to go down all the way on the chassis. I also scratchbuilt the rear wheel wells that should be there, it looks to open around the wheel and back without them.
