Like it was with the Kerry campaign? Nope, much much worse. The estimated cost of the '08 campaign will be around 2 BILLION dollars. That's not neck deep mud, that's "drop your opponent down a well and pour shit on him[or her]" territory.

If you can find one decent credible candidate who can stand up and tell you what he specifically wants to do in government, and can do it without smearing his opponents or belittling their aspirations, I urge you to vote for him[or her]. There must surely come a time when America will catch up with the rest of the world and get tired of trying to seperate the realities of candidates' abilities from the smokescreen of their opponents' slander and half-truths.

The main reason to not vote for her is she's a political hack. She governs by whatever the pollsters tell her instead of doing whats right. Sure, there are few politicians who do, but I have more trust in people who follow their convictions (regardless of how ludicrous some of them are).
People are going to pretty much vote for anyone b/c they're blinded by their hatred for Bush. They will care less what anyones stance is.

That's quite an indictment on Bush.

Since the pinhead is constitutionally barred from continuing to fuck up though, it doesn't make a lot of sense.Voting for 'anyone but Bush' is a given in 08. The Republican party will field a patsy candidate with a view to continuing the Bush administration's mistakes.Fortunately for America, he will probably lose.

Of course, it so clear now! I am sure they will choose another canidate with the same intentions as Bush. Because as we know Bush's popularity rate is not good so I am sure they will pick someone just like him. Hey, your spot on agian! Keep up the good work.

The sad thing is that the morons who were stupid enough to start a war in Iraq have already proved that they are stupid enough to send more troops into the quagmire that they created. Faced with such outstanding lack of perception, I consider it highly likely that their plan will be 'same shit, different frontman'.

Your sarcasm skills are a credit, btw.If your grasp of politics was as well honed, you might have two cents worthy of reading.

I'd just assume disagree with sarcasm or telling someone that I simpily do not agree with them than launch a personal attack on them. But that is just my preference.

Yeah, funny JC how these threads get off track.

What Hillary supports is sending more troops to Afghanistan. But I firmly believe that we should have our worthless NATO allies take up the slack. It is about time they stepped up to the plate. I am against sending any more of our fighting men and women to Afghanistan because it is starting to sound like an excercise in futility just like Iraq. Pakistan is the big problem in that area since the terrorists to include the Taliban are hiding there or given sanctuary.

I'm sure her smear machine against other democrat contenders will be in full swing by this summer. For the next few months, they'll circle each other like a couple of boxers checking out what the other guys is going to do.

I say we go back to the ship and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Seriously, IMO there is no way to ferret out an organization of fanatics who are willing to do anything for their cause, except for killing them.

I agree but our NATO allies can supply the extra manpower (troops) and the beer.

Its kinda hard to fight an enemy you cant see.
But they see our troops like a soar thumb coming down the road.

Our troops need to wear better disguises out there.
Blend in and stay off the roads(ie road side bombs)

Who the hell is the comndr chief?
