94 camry, problem shifting out of park
Recently, my camry has problems shifting out of park. Normally I would press the brake and it would shift. Now i have to push the override switch to get it running, but now my brake lights are not working. I checked the fuses and nothing is blown. Any Suggestions?

Check the brake light switch under the dash. It's either sticking or needs adjustment or it's bad.

Yep, brake light switch will cause that. As mentioned by csaxon, it's under the dash just above the brake pedal area. Looks like a button switch. As you push the brake pedal, the button type switch makes a connection and lights the brake lights and releases the "Park" mechanism in the tranny.
