Angry Sunfire electrical problem

Hi guys,
This is my first post and was wondering if someone could help me. My daughters 2000 Sunfire (2.2L) clicks about three or four times when she puts it in reverse and then the little wrench sign comes on. Her low beams work fine but the high beams don't. Now, I noticed when you manually turn the lights on BEFORE starting the ignition, then you won't get the clicking and no wrench sign. This has been going on for a while, but now she says her running lights (the lights that come on automatically when it gets dark) don't work. I checked the relay and thats fine and can't see any frayed wires. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Lightbulb Re: Sunfire electrical problem

Put the bong down and carefully stand back. This is a Nissan Xterra forum.
