I have a question. 95% tinting in the back, and 75% tinting in the front. Dont most people get darker in the back, and lighter up front? I am just curious. Do you have any pics? I would like to see that. I have 12% all around, and I love it. |

![]() I know you are from London somewhere which will probably push the premiums up somewhat, but assuming you have some no claims bonus and no convictions, that still sounds way too expensive! I'm 21, and my insurance quote this year for my SRi is around £900. Fair enough the GT is a couple of insurance groups higher (12E vs 14), but I'm only 21, and have 3 points on my licence for speeding (whoops ). That quote is with three years no claims.Kevin (P11GT) is about 25, and even with all the mods on his GT is only paying about £1000 I think. Is my memory correct on this one Kev? I suggest you get some quotes from different companies - try Admiral and Elephant for online quotes.

LOL, did you not know that your GT is a group 17 insurance. The same as a Impreza Turbo,V6 Laguna,ST200, GSI etc etc!!! Phone up an insurance company and ask what group it is. I think you know why its so expensive, its that paint LOL
. I can get insured on my Sri for £1400 (im 19) with a full exhaust system/header, cold air intake (same HP as a GT, if not more). Neil

i'm 19 with a '99 G20t. Got it dec 9th, 1998. beige, fully loaded, but that includes an auto
it was technically the family car, but i drove it most of the time and as it turns out, i'm going to be driving it for the next couple years during college. but its not mine - so its not like i can do any upgrades to it, other than a subwoofer, because i dont get to keep it forever. and i'm tired of getting crap from people with V6s about my car having a 4-banger, which makes people assume its just a slow, rebadged sentra (and they would be half right ): what i really want is a '90-'96 300ZX TT. add a JWT ECU and POP and that thing will smoke 99% of the cars on the road AND outhandle them thanks to Super-HICAS 4-wheel steering. depending on the year and milage, that car in very good condition can be had for between $10-18k.I guess it would be stupid to do stuff to a G20 if you only plan to keep it for the next 3 years at most. i dont think there would be a big market for it... especially with the G35 coming out in 2003. |
