90 Burb tilt steering wheel loose as a goose!
The tilt steering wheel on my 90 GMC Suburban 1500 has become very loose all of a sudden. It moves up and down 3 to 4 inches when in a locked position. I have not found any exploded view of this mechanisism to see what may have come loose or broken.
Has anyone seen this problem or worked on these steering wheels? |

Re: 90 Burb tilt steering wheel loose as a goose!
there are 4 torx bolts at the base of the tilt mechanism that have come loose.
the column will have to be disassembled to tighten the bolts
