Re: 87-90 2.2 turbo II or III WANTED! from A2Z

Hey SVTcobra306,

I noticed in your sig you have an 89 Daytona Shelby, My son has one here, Silver and Burgundy Interior T-Tops, 2.5 with the TII induction system and an A-555. and is planning on the S 60 Turbo, Injectors, and allready has the MP Computer, plus he's pondering the 4 Valve Neon Heads. Any tips you can share?

I know you weren't talking to me but I thought I'd give some friendly advice. Ditch that super 60 ECU, your car will run like crap. THe S60 ECU never reads the O2 sensor and is really a race only ECU. I have a custom calibrated ECU from www.turbosunleashed.com and it is awsome, my car runs better than the stock ECU. The turbo and injectors are very good though, you will also need a 3 bar MAP sensor.

The neon head is a good idea however is a lot of work and pretty expensive.

Thanks for the reply PW, do they sell those outright or can you send them yours and they will reprogram it? If they accept reprogramming mine, which one should I send, the stock or the MP? Also the Dual stock core Intercooler I see you have listed, how is that set up?

Re-program, they can take either one but I would send the stocker and sell the mopar unit to get some $ back as it will be worth more than the stock ECU.
What do you mean how is it set up? How is it installed or what does it look like?
Here's a pic of what I have-
