Question 96 burb 4x4 best shocks?

96 burb 1500 4x4. what are some good shocks to put on it? i need something that is smooth and won't make it ride like a tank. i don't do any off roading and i don't want to spend a fortune on them.
any suggestions?

Re: 96 burb 4x4 best shocks?

I have a pair of older Monroe Sensatrac's on my 95 suburban, they are standard in the front and spring loaded in the back. They've been pretty good for the past few years, but I do need new ones myself. I'm not even sure if Monroes still makes those shocks though.

good luck
