I am planning a full b16 swap in my 89 hb. i want it to be a dual purpose car part oval track but still streatable. was wondering if there is any trans out there that will mate to the b16 that will get me to around 180mph? or will i have to get a custom built trans? dont worry full safty equipment will be employed in this car.

Re: trans q
You're going to have a tough time getting your B16 up to that speed much less finding a tranny with gearing to take you there. Are you planning a boosted T60 high compression tuned engine or something. Wow.

But: 1. You're going to need ALOT of high rpm power to pull your car that fast 2. You'll never get your car upto that speed on the street or autocrossing. You're going to need the suspension, brakes, tires, wheels, and frame bracing to support it.
