Question missing sensor...I think

88 mustang LX 2.3L EFI
Where would I find the Air Charge Temp Sensor? I have a book that shows the sensor in the air cleaner box, and on another diagram in the book it shows it located in the tube going to the air box. I don't have one in either spot, so where is mine? Do I have one on this car? I cleaned the one on my truck, which is also an 88 Ford, so I thought I would clean the one on the Mustang...But couldn't find it...Any help would be great
