Unhappy Ford F250 Diesel Dies one minute after start

I have a 1999 Ford F250 Diesel that died yesterday with no warning, just shut off like I'd turned the key off. It will crank and idle for a minute, then die. I can even drive it for the minute it stays cranked. Is this a bad sensor? I would appreciate any input... Thanks! Wranglermama

Does the tach move while you are cranking it trying to start it (after it dies)? If not, replace the cam sensor.

Also check your fuel system for leaks on the suction side. Could be air in the fuel.
